Required Documents

In order to evaluate your mortgage application, you'll need to provide us with the following documents:

  • W-2 Statements from the last two (2) years

  • Pay Stubs from the last thirty (30) days

  • Bank Statements from the last two (2) months

  • IRA, 401k, or Mutual Fund Account most recent transaction summary

  • Stocks or Certificate of Deposits (CDs) photocopies

  • Purchase and Sale Agreement copy

  • Letter of Explanation for any known credit problems

If you are DIVORCED:

  • Divorce Decree – fully executed

If you are REFINANCING:

  • Deed copy

  • Tax Bill – most recent

If you are PURCHASING A HOME:

  • Purchase Contract – signed

  • Realtor Contact Information

  • Condo Association Contact Information (If applicable)

If you applying for a VA LOAN:

  • DD Form 214 – Long form

If you are SELF-EMPLOYED, EMPLOYED IN SALES, PAID BY COMMISSION, OR OWN RENTAL REAL ESTATE:

  • Personal Tax Returns from the last two (2) years – signed – with all related schedules

If you are SELF-EMPLOYED THROUGH A CORPORATION:

  • Corporate Tax Returns from the last two (2) years

  • Year-to-Date Profit and Loss Statement

  • Current Balance Sheet

Depending on the loan program you are applying for, more or less documentation may be required. Your VIP Mortgage Group representative will inform you of any further information needed.
